Applying 12 Favorite Questions to Twitter

LOL

Takamichi told me that my Small Bets Discord chats are much more interesting than my Twitter. This has bothered me for months. After I thought about it, I think it's because on Small Bets, I know exactly what the community values. On Twitter, sometimes I say things because I think it's funny or because it makes me sound smart. I don't have anything to guide me.

The "Twelve Favorite Questions" exercise keeps the topics that you're most interested in at the top of your mind.  As you consume, ideas and examples of your "Twelve Favorite Questions" will stand out.  It's called the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon, or Frequency Illusion.  "Increased awareness of something creates the illusion that it is appearing more often."

How can we use this effect to become better at Twitter?

I'm thinking of creating a list of people I want to have conversations with on Twitter and writing out what each of them is interested in. I can then use that as a magnet as I consume content.  I'll surface ideas that they're interested in.
