Psychopaths are immune to other people's negative reactions.  They don't care what other people feel, they're not subject to cultural constraints.  They just do whatever they feel like doing.  Instead of being shamed out of their actions, they continue doing them.

What about the opposite?  What about people who are immune to other people's positive reactions?  Usually, when you get a good response to something you do, it encourages you to do more of it.  But sometimes I feel intimidated by compliments.  I was hoping that there is a lesson here, but I'm not sure.  If you're too encouraged by compliments, you're a narcissist.

Be informed by other peoples responses but don't feed off of them.
