Aren't You Bored?
I was catching up with a friend and he hadn’t realized that it’s been four years since I left my job, he thought it was only a year. He asked me, “Aren’t you bored?”
I was bored at work, doing tasks with no utility for people I didn’t respect. Now I can literally do anything I want to do.
“Aren’t you bored at work?” I wanted to ask him.
But when I worked, I felt the same way that he did. It was unimaginable to think of things to do, how to fill time. Because work was the focus, my mind was closed to every other opportunity.
