When I was younger, I rejected faith. I believed when there was evidence. No evidence, no belief.
But now that I'm older, I realize that we take a lot of things on faith. Trust is based on faith. It could be based on history, but there's still faith involved.
I've been thinking more and more lately about faith and surrender. We will never be at peace until we surrender and not agonize over every decision. I think if we have faith in systems we will reach our goals. If we have faith in our values and principles, good things will happen. And if we have faith in our means, good ends will happen.
