Schrödingpreneur
Mark Cuban calls people who want to be entrepreneurs but don’t market or ship, “wantapreneurs.”
As someone who has had a hard time shipping, I’ve thought about why it’s tough. Before you ship, there’s a range of possibilities. It could change the world! It could
flop. Once you reveal the project to the world, reality will set in. But as long as you don’t ship, the possibility of your project being the greatest thing since sliced bread exists.
Schrödinger's cat is a thought experiment about how a cat may be alive or dead, but you won’t know until you open the box and see. Therefore the cat is both simultaneously alive and dead until that moment.
Because of loss aversion, sometimes we are afraid to open that box and show what we’ve built to the world.
