Trust Barriers
Shanté Cofield, in a conversation with Khe Hy, mentioned the concept of trust barriers. Once you’ve broken a trust barrier, the other person will be interested in what you say on almost any topic.
A lot of people, before they start writing, worry about their niche. They worry that they need to find a niche or that they’ll be bored if they get stuck in a niche. Niches are ways for people to find you. If someone’s interested in your niche and you’re knowledgeable in it, they’ll check you out. But once you’ve overcome the trust barrier, they’ll read your writing on almost any topic.
