A journal on my exploration of Alexander Technique
My interpretation of Alexander Technique is a method to get into a flow state. Method may not be accurate because there aren't really any steps. If you actively try Alexander Technique you will likely fail. I first took Michael Ashcroft's course in January.
My impression of Alexander Technique is that it's similar to meditation. You're supposed to relax and let things happen. You're not supposed to exert effort. How do you do something then? By not-not doing it. Yeah, I'm confused too.
This will be a running journal of my thoughts and experiences with Alexander Technique.
