Infotainment
Infotainment (Information + entertainment) is the choice of the consumer. Anything you consume can be information or entertainment, or anywhere in the spectrum.
All books, Twitter University, CBCs, online courses, TV shows can be infotainment or useful. If you put it into practice, it's practical. You can even learn from junk TV. You can learn about camera angles, human behavioral interactions, narrative building. Or you can subsume your mind and just be entertained.
It's all a matter of perspective. This is an extension of the quote from Viktor Frankl, “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
