Opportunity cost is usually thought of as, “How much money am I giving up?” We’ve become conditioned to translate value into monetary terms. But what about, “How much joy am I giving up?” Money is a medium of exchange, but it’s not necessarily fungible with joy.
How would you quantify joy?
